A client recently asked me to come up with a way to have their site updates automatically posted to their facebook page and their Twitter account.  Well I wanted to share how I made this happen.  I hadn’t done had a call for this previously, so I decided to see what was available. THIS POST is part of that setup actually.
The idea is to have an announcement page on your site, when you  update that (via my CMS tool) or your blog an update is then posted to your wall (or page) on Facebook, and Twitter at the same time.  Cool Huh?  Well maybe you non-geeks won’t think so, but since I love this web stuff to me its something neat.
With Facebook you need to add an application called: “Own Feed Burn !”  - This allows you to add an rss feed (from blog or site) to your Facebook page.
For Twitter You have <a title=”Twitter Feed – Check it out” href=”http://www.twitterfeed.com” target=”_blank”>Twitterfeed.com</a> – This site is better then the first app as you can setup several feeds to post to your account, and many what posts (keyword oriented even).
Check these out more soon on my page. I just wanted to try this initial post to see if it works.
